THE SECRET to making the BEST 90 Second Keto Bread


I worked for many days making batch of keto bread and finally stumbled upon a recipe (90 second keto bread) that does not taste like an egg or have some strange yellow appearance.


It toasts perfectly and gives you that crunch that we've all been missing and you can make sandwiches out of it, let's get to cooking.


Ingredients:


  • A quarter cup of almond flour.
  • 1 tbsp of unflavored low carb protein powder.
  • 1 tsp of baking powder.
  • 1/4 tsp allulose (optional).
  • 1/8 tsp salt.
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter softened.
  • 1 egg white.
  • 1 tbsp heavy cream.
  • 2 tsp sour cream.

Preparation:


  1. In a small bowl we're going to add the 3 ingredient keto bread, almond flour, protein powder, baking powder.
  2. I know this might seem like a lot of baking powder for one serving but the baking powder is what helps give it that golden brown appearance when we toast our bread, it also helps with the flavor too.
  3. These next two ingredients are optional, the allulose we have that just for a hint of sweetness, then a salt.
  4. If you're making like a grilled cheese sandwich, you can omit the salt because the cheese is salty enough, but you can add it if you're just making plain bread or toast.
  5. Whisk these dry ingredients together until combined.
  6. Add the softened butter and the egg white (you can actually use a whole egg if you want), but you're going to have to omit the heavy cream, but I went for the egg white just because it gives more of that white bread appearance.
  7. Add the sour cream this is my secret ingredient to help cut out that eggy flavor from 90 second keto bread.
  8. Add the heavy cream and you can also substitute with nut milk if you prefer.
  9. Mix all together and then we're going to pour this into a microwave safe baking dish.
  10. Now use a square dish or any microwave safe baking dish you want, I like it because it just looks like sandwich bread.
  11. Make sure you spray your dish with cooking spray, and then line it with parchment paper.
  12. Bake the bread in the microwave for 90 seconds at 100 power.
  13. If you want to bake it in the oven, you'll bake it at 350 degrees for around 9 to 11 minutes.
  14. Once it's done let it cool for about a minute before lifting it out, when it completely cool, slice it with a serrated knife.
  15. At the end you will find it toasts up like regular bread, it's crispy and crunchy on the outside, it's only three grams of net carbs for two slices so one and a half net carbs per slice.

How long can you keep keto bread?


Keto bread is very sensitive bread because the ingredients are too fragile to keep at the room temperature.


If you want to store bread, you must cover it and put in the refrigerator (you can use it up to 2 weeks).


But if you want to store it in the freezer for up to 6 months, you must store it in a close or a Ziplock bag.
