Tofu has been a staple food in Asian diets for centuries and is now commonly used across the world in salads, sandwiches, barbecue, stir-fried sauces breakfast scrambles, and even tasty desserts.
Its ability to be used in such a variety of dishes is one of tofu's greatest strengths.
So today we will give you 3 Delicious Tofu Recipes that You Should Try it.
This is all great but it's tofu even nutritious, and indubitably incredibly low in calories in 100% cholesterol free.
Tofu is also packed with a large dose of complete protein that means it contains all nine essential amino acids that our bodies need.
Now let's start our recipes.
1- Tofu with Sweet Chili Sauce.
Sweet chili tofu is a simple dish to prepare, it also pairs well with rice, to prepare the recipe, we recommend using Firm or Extra Firm Tofu.
- Ingredients:
- Extra Firm Tofu/Firm Tofu (Diced).
- Cornflour.
- Salt.
- Cayenne.
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
- Red/green bell pepper.
- An onion.
- Sriracha Sauce (From supermarkets).
- Preparation:
- In a mixing bowl, combine cornstarch, salt, and paper.
- After that, coat the tofu in it.
- Get your preheated pan ready and fry them in olive oil for about five minutes, or until they are slightly brown, also keep them to the side.
- In the same pan, dry fry the pepper and onion for about 2-4 minutes, or until soft.
- Place the tofu in the pan.
- Cook for an additional two minutes.
- Pour the sweet chili sauce into a serving bowl.
Your sweet chili tofu is ready to serve after only 10-15 minutes of cooking time. You can serve it with either white or brown rice.
2- Tofu Jerk.
This is one of my favorite recipes, despite the fact that the recipe requires a large number of ingredients, it is extremely simple to prepare. This dish is called Jamaican Inspired Jerk Tofu.
- Ingredients.
- 1 Onion (Red).
- 1 jalapeo, peeled.
- 1 Onion (Spring).
- Onion (Few Cloves).
- Dark brown sugar (2 tablespoons).
- Vinegar (Any type of Vinegar).
- 1/2 Tsp thyme Leaf.
- 1/2 Tsp cloves (ground).
- 1/2 Tsp ground Cinnamon.
- 1/2 Tsp allspice (ground).
- 1/2 Tsp nutmeg (ground).
- Preparation.
- Finely chop all of the vegetables.
- Use food processor or blender to blend all of the ingredients until smooth.
- Place all of the spices in the blender.
- Shape your Extra Firm Tofu into steaks and arrange them on the plate.
- Drizzle the tofu with the jerk marinade.
- Refrigerate it for 10 minutes to overnight.
- Obtain a frying pan, and fry the marinated tofu in a low medium heat pan for about 4-5 minutes, or until golden brown.
Take note:
Your jerk tofu is now ready to eat, you can also add a smoky flavor by using a grill pan.
For an extra, reheat the remaining jerk marinade sauce, you can serve it with rice or with sautéed broccoli.

3- Lettuce wrap with tofu.

- Edamame (edamame).
